If you build websites, you inevitably run into problems. Maybe there’s no way to achieve an aspect of your design using CSS. Or maybe there’s a device feature you really wish you could tap into using JavaScript. Or perhaps the in-browser DevTools don’t give you a key insight you need to do your job. We want to hear about it!

We started this project to collect your feedback about the current state of the web and to give you a voice to help shape its future. To kick things off, we’re traveling to conferences and meetups across the world to give you a chance to pitch us on why we (as a community) need to go solve a particular problem or deficiency you’ve encountered in the web platform, developer tooling, or other areas. The most compelling problems—as judged by a panel of experts and the audience—will win awesome prizes too!

Is there something you want? Send it in

We’re listening…

We’d love to know what tools you want to add to your web dev toolbox. We’ll evaluate all submissions for inclusion on this site and we may reach out to ask that you present your “want” at a future event.

We reserve the right to accept or reject any submissions. Any rude or inappropriate submissions will be rejected outright.

  1. We will only use this information to contact you when your want is published and reach out if we select you to participate in an event. We will not retain your email address beyond that period of time.

  2. We use GitHub for tracking and discussing Wants. A GitHub account isn’t required, but could be helpful if you’re interested in participating there.

  3. If you are not already planning to attend the event, it is unlikely we will be able to get you a ticket. That said, if you might qualify for an attendee scholarship, contact us and we will try to help you if we can.

  4. Please note that we may end up rewriting your problem before posting it to this site.

Note: You can ask us to remove your personal information from this site or our form submission database at any time. We can also retroactively remove your full name from any submissions. Just drop us a line.
